We were overjoyed when we discovered the starry night-colored Cherry Brand cabochons used in this bracelet design nestled in their original tissue paper, sealed with an orange sakura blossom label.
This distinctive logo revealed their identity as Cherry Brand glass manufactured in Japan during the American occupation between 1945 and 1952. Rice farmers who were moonlighting as button artisans created many of these now rare and collectible glass cabochons.
