Two rare and midcentury silver luster shell-shaped buttons are made from hand-pressed Czech glass.
We named them after the Camino de Santiago, a network of pilgrim trails leading to the Santiago de Compostela in Spain. The accreditation for completing this pilgrimage is a scallop shell.
For centuries, pilgrims from all over the world have embarked on this journey. Archaeologists have unearthed many ancient tombs engraved with the scallop shell symbol or found people buried with their shells.
