Papillon Necklace
A pretty ephemeral glass butterfly button dangles at the end of this pendant necklace ready to launch into flight. Luckily it's anchored by an antique metal button linked to a vintage tourmaline mirror opal glass doublet.
Every antique button is a one and only, chosen just for you, and so will not be identical to the image.
This necklace features a sliding clasp that enables you to adjust its length to suit any neckline. You can wear it as a choker, as a long pendant, or anywhere in between.
In this piece (from top to bottom):
- Small antique brass button, circa 1880-1900, chosen from our collection
- Vintage German doublet in tourmaline goldstone mirror opal glass
- Hand-pressed glass butterfly button, made today in the Czech Republic in antique molds
- Antiqued brass chain
- Chain adjusts via a sliding magnetic clasp from a 15" choker to 32" long pendant
