We named this striking bracelet after one of literature's most notable fictional characters - Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. Like its namesake, it's both physically ravishing and tastefully modest. Also, like Anna, it's sure to capture everyone's eye.
This bracelet design showcases three glass buttons manufactured in a factory in the U.S.S.R. Both the factory and U.S.S.R are now in history's dust bin. Yet, these buttons survived and found you!
It also features two beautiful hand-pressed vintage glass opal cabochons manufactured in mid-century Czechoslovakia. One of the few remaining Czech button artists still working in modern times using centuries-old manufacturing processes made these unique pieces.
In this piece:
- Three vintage mid-century Soviet-era glass buttons, made in a long-closed U.S.S.R factory, circa 1950 - 1970
- Two vintage lampworked and hand-pressed red opal glass cabochons, made in Czechoslovakia, circa 1950 - 1979
- Two brass leaf stampings, made in the USA in vintage dies
- Five brass-plated pewter settings made in the USA
- Antiqued brass chain
- Length is 7” to 8 ½”
