This bracelet flaunts a special mid-century moonglow flower button with gold luster highlights and a lovely crystal center.

We found it at a closing sale at the Worthmore Five and Dime in Rayne, Louisiana, still attached to its original card with a nostalgic price tag of twenty-five cents. It's one of the most exquisite West German glass buttons we’ve ever found.

The vintage light blue button on the top end, was hand-carved from Mississippi River mussel shells by the American Pearl Button Company of Washington which operated between 1908 and 1964. We lovingly hand-dyed the pearl button on the stovetop in our Louisiana design studio.

In the center, you'll find an authentic, one-of-a-kind, Victorian-era antique button.

Every antique button is a one and only, chosen just for you, and so will not be identical to the image.

In this piece, from the top down:

  • Moonglow & rhinestone glass button, made in West Germany & sold under the Costumakers brand, circa 1950
  • Antique brass button, circa 1880-1900
  • Hand-dyed, Lady Washington vintage mother-of-pearl button, manufactured between 1908 & 1964
  • Three brass-plated pewter settings made today in the USA in vintage dies
  • Antiqued brass chain
  • Length is approximately 7.5"
