In this bracelet design, a mid-century, silver brown, agate German glass oval is flanked on either side by an authentic one-of-a-kind, antique Victorian era button, and a striated West German glass doublet.
The glass oval in the center exemplifies the skill apex of mid-century German glassmakers. Bohemian glassmakers developed methods for press-molding glass buttons in the early 19th century. However, after WWII, German glass artists rose in prominence and advanced the glass-making trade by inventing marbled agate glass.
Every antique button is a one and only, chosen just for you, and so will not be identical to the image.
