Chinoiserie BraceletRegular price $69.00
This bracelet is stunning in its simplicity. In this design, an intricately detailed antiqued brass chain is anchored by a hand-painted Chinoiserie porcelain bead and an antique brass button.
Chinoiserie is an 18th-century European design trend imitating Asian art and design. Ever the trendsetter, French King Louis IVX's fondness for Chinoiserie made it trendy in European courts. It eventually became a chic design style commonly found in architecture, furnishings, porcelain, and more in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
In this bracelet, the hand-painted Chinoiserie porcelain bead is paired with a one-of-a-kind Victorian-era button that is likely more than 130 years old.
Every antique button is one and only, chosen just for you, and so will not be identical to the image.
