These lovely earrings feature two rare, mid-century blue striped glass cabochons made in Czechoslovakia.
Czech glass artisans honed their skills for centuries, and then in the early 18th century, they were the first to start pressing hot glass into molds. By the early 20th century, they’d mastered their craft and exported exquisitely detailed glass buttons and cabochons worldwide.
The cabochons in these earrings were hand-pressed using centuries-old processes.
