Ivora Butterfly Vintage Plate

This decorative china luncheon plate features a sweet poppy and rose floral pattern called Ivora that was designed and released by the Crooksville China Company in the early 20th century.

We applied an imprint of 19th-century butterfly illustration copied from a natural history book. We adore how the scientific illustration contrasts with the flowery china pattern to create an eccentric cabinet of curiosities vibe.

Our founder, Susan Davis, is a dedicated collector of all things old, beautiful and interesting.

While button hunting, she often finds other collectibles she cannot bear to leave behind. This is how she came to own a substantial collection of colorful antique and vintage china plates.

The plates accumulated in our Louisiana design studio for many years, until Susan discovered a process for transferring images onto china that sparked her latest product design inspiration.

Your plate will be one of only three in the world.
