This necklace showcases a stunning and elegant mid-century Art Deco jet Czech glass button with gold luster.
Art Deco celebrates the young egalitarian values of the optimistic era between the first and second world wars. It was an age when liberated Jazz Age women abandoned Victorian-era societal expectations and embraced manly pleasures like smoking and dancing in speakeasies.
This jet glass button was hand-pressed by a mid-century Czech glass artisan working at the pinnacle of his craft.
We’ve named this necklace Lorelei, after the fictional flapper in the book Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
