This necklace showcases three irresistible charms in enchanting shades of blue and gold, making it the perfect accessory for a crisp white shirt.

Its vintage ring clasp holds a mid-century, hand-pressed Czech glass stone, a hand-painted vintage German milk glass button, and a Victorian-era hammered brass button.

The one-of-a-kind antique hammered brass button is among the oldest in our collection. Metalworkers forged its lovely designs by 'hammering' on its backside.

Every antique button is one and only, chosen just for you, and so will not be identical to the image.

German glassmaking is rooted in Bavaria, where local artisans were influenced by their peers in nearby Bohemia. When Czechoslovakia annexed Northern Bavaria after WWII, the resident glassmakers fled and set up workshops in their new West German communities. They built a thriving glass button industry, and by 1950 West Germany was considered the glass button capital of the world.

In this piece:

  • Antique hammered brass button, circa 1870
  • Vintage hand-painted milk glass button made in Western Germany, circa 1950
  • Vintage chalcedony blue glass stone made in Czechoslovakia, circa 1950
  • Hand-painted Chinese porcelain bead
  • Three brass-plated pewter settings cast today in the USA
  • Vintage spring ring clasp
  • Antiqued brass chain
  • Tiny blue porphyry Czech glass bead
  • Length is 22” with a 4” extender
