We were all atingle when we found an ample quantity of the deliciously colored vintage glass buttons we used in this bracelet on a recent button hunting trip.
The orange, lemon, and lime colors of these sweet vintage hand-pressed Czech glass buttons remind us of bowls of tantalizing sorbet.
They shine bright with modern colors popular during the exuberant decade following WWII.
Czech glass artisans honed their skills for centuries, and in the early 18th century, they were the first to start pressing hot glass in molds to create exquisitely detailed buttons now coveted worldwide. These buttons reflect the apex of glass-making skills honed for centuries.

- Five hand-pressed glass buttons in sorbet colors made in Czechoslovakia, circa the 1950s and 1960s
