The vintage mid-century Czech faceted jet glass square centering this bracelet was hand-pressed in antique molds and manufactured using centuries-old processes.
Czech glass artisans honed their skills for centuries, and then in the early 18th century, they were the first to start pressing hot glass into molds. By the early 20th century, they’d mastered their craft and exported exquisitely detailed glass buttons worldwide.
We named this bracelet to honor the Russian abstract painting pioneer Wassily Kandinsky because the bold hues in the glass remind us of his ground-breaking use of color. His work, like this handcrafted bracelet, radiates joy by boldly using color and form.
