Zelda EarringsRegular price $39.00
These earrings brazenly flaunt their Art Deco style and elegance.
Art Deco celebrates the young egalitarian values of the optimistic era between the first and second world wars. It was a time when liberated Jazz Age women abandoned Victorian-era societal expectations and embraced manly pleasures like smoking and dancing in speakeasies.
We’ve named these earrings after a quintessential flapper, Zelda Fitzgerald, the stylish, free-spirited wife and muse of F. Scott Fitzgerald.
The vintage crystal drops in these earrings were hand-pressed by a mid-century Czech glass artisan working at the pinnacle of his craft.
In this piece:
- Vintage jet crystal drop, made in the Czech Republic, circa 1950-1960
- Jet glass and brass filigree beads
- Pronged brass setting stamped today in the USA in vintage dies
- Nickel-free and lead-free brass lever-back ear wires
- Length is 1 ¾”
