The Azul necklace is one of our most popular designs, so when we discovered a box of mint green vintage moonglow glass stones in a dusty east coast warehouse, we decided to recreate this beloved design.
Moonglow glass has an opaque interior, sealed with a clear top, creating a satiny, almost glowing appearance. They were developed by West German button artisans in 1954 and remained popular until the early 1960s.
In this piece:
- Vintage West German mint green moonglow glass doublet, circa 1950-60
- Antique-style brass stamping, made today in the USA in vintage dies
- Length is 16" with a 4" extender
